Superhero Tristen and His Trusty Sidekick Frog

Today, Tristen became a superhero. As he doned his blue cape of bravery, he flew around the house, accomplishing missions, feeding the hungry and saving the world from electronic dinosaurs. He is the bravest of the brave and very handsome. He is always accompanied by his trusty sidekick Frog.
I was able to get a brief snapshot of him in action.

Well, my boys are growing like weeds. On May 11th, they both went to the doctor to get a check-up. Tristen weighs 35 lbs. and is 39 3/4” tall. Grady weighs 24 lbs. and is 30 1/2” tall. They are both healthy and strong.
On May 12th we went to the Pittsburgh Zoo. It was a beautiful day. Not too hot or too cold. The boys did great. We had a really good time.
Grady is officially walking. He started the first week in June and is getting better and better every day. And I thought crawling was work for me…

Tristen's First Day of Preschool

Life as I knew it is over. Tristen has begun school. At 805am this morning, I took him to his first day of Preschool at Indian Hills. He will go to school Mon, Wed and Fri from 815 to 1130.
He was so excited to start school. When we arrived, I parked my car so that I could walk him in to his class. He jumped out of the van and said, “Bye Mom. See you later.” So we went inside and I helped him find his cubby and put his things away. Then he took off to play. I called him back to say good-bye and he slapped a kiss on me and said, “Love you.” That was the last I saw of him.
I got teary-eyed in the car as Grady and I pulled away but I know he is going to have lots of fun and make new friends. It is so surreal though. I still have vivid memories of my years in school and it has come full circle. It is a very strange feeling.

I can’t believe it. My baby is one. It was a fun day. We had a combined birthday party for Grady & Tristen (who turn’s four on Tuesday). The boys were very blessed and received many gifts. I’ll get pictures up as soon as I can.

So Grady is approaching his first birthday and his hair was really getting long. I finally decided to take him for his first hair cut on Thursday, April 30th. He looks so good now. Here is a before and after picture.

Oh and he has two more new teeth. The two teeth on the outside of the the two bottom middle teeth. My baby is growing up.
